For HOU!

We’re doing our best to focus our efforts on your three greatest concerns and to improve the Festival’s entertainment.

Here’s what we are doing:

  1. Accessibility: We will make available a downloadable app that will give you immediate access to all the festival has to offer – workshops, performances, vendors and a comprehensive map. The app will help festivalgoers navigate more easily Festival activities and offerings.

  2. Parking: We are working on alternative parking options. Given the limited parking in and around Hermann Park, we understand your frustrations: we want you to enjoy the festival and will offer suggestions.

  3. Getting out the Word: We are working on various forms of new communications, including a robust social media program. If you keep an eye out, you should see posters displayed by our community partners at least 6 weeks before the festival.

  4. Entertainment: We are planning new and costly entertainment from Japan to highlight your experience.

We need HOU!

Donate to the General Fund to help us get out the word, provide the app, develop parking alternatives, and provide top flight entertainment. We love hosting this festival and sharing Japanese culture with Houston and her surrounding cities and are grateful for your input and donations.

We thank you - ありがとうございます! - and can’t wait to see you at Japan Festival Houston on September 7-8. 2024!
